CURRICULUM VITAE

Professional Info

I have experience with working in a professional television studio and have knowledge with gallery and studio floor roles as well as skills with camera operating.  Skills in television production both in studio and on location as I have produced a fifteen-minute live studio show and both ninety second and four-minute film on location.

From working within the events industry with work experience I have gained great experience working in a fast pace and time managed environment.  As well as this I have experienced working long hours to complete the final event set up.

Work Experience

Gibraltar Broadcasting Corporation

6th-24thAugust 2018

I spent three weeks working with the GBC team on both location and green screen filming.  I edited a trailer for an upcoming programme called Mixology, which they used and broadcasted on their channel and also helped film an advert for the Gibraltar National Bank.

Sky internship

15th-16th January 2018

During these two days, I travelled down to London to Sky.  Throughout the day we went to various areas of sky such as content handling, media management, QC, VOD, and stills.  Each module went through their jobs titles and what it entailed them to do, also by showing how they do so with what types of industry software they use.  I now have a wider knowledge of the production process in more extensive depth than what I had learned from my University course, as well as industry standard software and technology.

Event Support for NEC Showcase

13th-27th July 2017

Main roles during this work experience included being in charge of keeping track of the equipment of the event, mostly the 300 more screens that had to be put up for the event.  I had to keep track of the whereabouts of the screens and check to list all that was in the boxes in which the screens were in, this was to help when returning the screens back to the companies in which each type of screen went to.  I was also shadowing the managers of the event itself to learn more about the ins and outs of the operations which take place to set up an event of this scale.

Camera Operator

January 2017

Being a camera operator on a live student tv show called 'Scratch TV'.

I applied for this job multiple times through January and sometimes on the live day I was the only camera operator that had applied.  Because of this, I had to operate at most three cameras at once which including a stationary camera and moving for a pan of the scene.
